Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Sophia Hobbs and I am a senior at the University of Mary Washington. I am a history major as well as a student in the College of Education.
I am on track to become a middle or high school social studies teacher with a specialization in ESOL. Education is my passion. My dream is to teach public school in the DMV area and maybe even overseas.
My favorite area to learn about is US Civil Rights history. My personal hero is Frederick Douglass! I also love learning about art history and the field of education.
In my free time, I like to go to museums, read, and listen to podcasts.
